I am going to predict that by 2013 NC State is playing for a conference championship!

3 things)

1) They have to be solid academically.
2) They can't leave after 1 year.
3) They MUST improve each year.

Look at all of the "busts" we've had in the last 20 years. They either got into academic issues (Chuck Kornegy, who was a S-T-U-D), left for the NBA or another school (pick one of the many), or just simply did NOT improve at all from year 1 (Damon Thornton, Kenny Inge, Scooter Sherril, etc).

When that backcourt is in their 3rd and 4th year and making 1st team All-ACC, that's when we'll be successful. And not a minute sooner. College ball has turned into a guard's game, and you must have premier guards to win. There is no subsitute for them.

I feel your pessimism man. Both Harrow and Brown have to produce. But they are probably the highest ranked backcourt that the Pack has signed in a looonnnggg time though.

This teams struggles can be linked directly to backcourt direction or the lack there of. When Atsur was able to play back in '07 this team had a different identity. It really shoudln't be a surprise that we've struggled to win games.

Poor backcourt play has absolutely killed this team.
