    Default NCAA Tournament

The women were selected to host their first two games in the NCAA Tournament.

The last time this happened was 2007. The Pack starts with Elon on Friday and then could play the winner of Maryland versus Princeton.

    Go Pack!

Hopefully we take care of Elon so I can go. Mckenzie has a softball game on Friday so I cannot attend.

The ladies provided your wish, Derreck!

They handled Elon quite thoroughly, beating them 62-35 in their opening game of the NCAA Tournament.

The Pack now hosts Maryland, 18 Mar. Time to be determined.

The ladies punched their ticket to the Sweet 16, beating Maryland 74-60 to earn their way!

Up next, NC State faces the winner of the Mississippi State/Oklahoma State game to be played in Kansas City.

That they did. It was a very nice win over Maryland topped with an "ACC" chant at the end by the Pack fans towards Maryland.

Well, the road hit the skids as Mississippi State throttled NC State 71-57 to end the ladies' season.

Still, nothing whatsoever shabby about reaching the Sweet 16 and ending the season nationally ranked!

This team lost 4 starters from last season and was picked 10th in the ACC in the preseason coaches poll. As impressive as Keatts coaching was this season Wes Moore did better in my opinion. Regardless I feel our 2 basketball programs are on solid ground as far as coaching goes.
